While recovering from my third bout of cancer in the span of 11 years, I received a very generous (and surprising) gift from The Heart of Hope Hope. It goes without saying it was a very difficult time physically, emotionally, and financially. The Heart of Hope came into my life at just the right time

The Heart of Hope was such a blessing for my daughter Michelle during her 5-year battle with breast cancer. Cancer not only took a toll on her physically, it also impacted her financially. When she was first diagnosed, The Heart of Hope donated a $500 gift card for use towards groceries.
When Michelle’s cancer turned terminal, The Heart of Hope was there again! Their generosity left us all speechless when they donated $1,000 sending Michelle and her family on a summer camping trip. Little did we know that it would be their last camping adventure together as a family. Although their last, the memories created will live on in the hearts of her children and her husband.

When Carlene learned that I was diagnosed with this terrible disease, she was more than generous to offer me assistance from the Heart of Hope Charitable Fund. The Heart of Hope sent me a beautiful flower arrangement and care package to aid in my recovery. They also organized a fundraiser in which all proceeds were donated to me and my family. Carlene would also take the time to sit and visit me while I was having chemo treatments
